Built to bring collectors into card shops.

Card Shop Trail is an independent road-trip guide for finding walk-in collectible-card stores near major highways. The I-75 Trail is the first route: Florida to Michigan, one useful stop at a time.

Card Shop Trail is a Home Base Card Shop project, created to send more collectors through the doors of local card shops.

The standard

Every listed stop must be a currently open, walk-in store carrying collectible cards. Its pin must resolve to the street address or verified retail-building footprint, and its one-way route from the nearest I-75 exit must be ten minutes or less in baseline off-peak conditions.

Drive times are routed on the road network—not guessed from ZIP codes or straight-line distance—and rounded up to a whole minute. When both mapped approaches share an exit number, the slower approach sets the estimate. The core route is five minutes or less; Short Detours are six to ten minutes.

Independent by design

Home Base Card Shop receives no special route position or rating treatment. Shops cannot buy a better position, rating, or route placement. Listings follow the same distance and category standards, and Trip Mode keeps stops in highway order. Google ratings, when available, are refreshed weekly and shown as a separate signal for travelers.

Kept current with the shops

The full route is reviewed quarterly. Owners, employees, and collectors can submit an exit correction, verify a listing, or nominate a missing shop. Every submission is reviewed before the public trail changes.
